Our little Monkey!

Our little Monkey named Logan discovered that he can climb into the green chair in our living room. Here are pictures of the process.

There he is getting started with the climb.

Getting up there pretty well, isn't he?

HEY MOM! I DID IT!

Then Big Brother gave him a pillow and a blankie.

He loves it!

Now we start the climb down.

It didn't go as smooth as he would have liked! But it was really cute.

Grant's First Day of 1st Grade

Today Grant started 1st grade. He had alot of fun. He bought school lunch. And he said that his pencil box not only holds pencils, but it also holds scissors, glue, crayons, and erasers. He got to play with his old friends at recess. He also made a new friend named George. Here are pictures of Grant before Daniel took him to school today! Oh and he said that he wanted to be dropped off today like a big boy. Man, do they grow up fast!

Daniel's Last Day of Freedom

Last Tuesday was Daniel's last day before he started back to work, so we took the kids to Carowinds. It was so much fun. We went to the new wave pool they built. That morning before we left, Kelly gave us her waterproof camera to use. It was so great not worrying about the camera. We defintely have to get one of those. Here are some of the pictures we took!

That picture is of Daniel and Logan behind a wave.
There they are again! Logan loved the waves because Daniel would jump with him.
There is Grant waiting for the waves. The first time the waves came he held my hand, but then he got brave and let go of me and just jumped on his own! I was very proud of him.

Grant again waiting for the waves.

The waves kept pushing Grant farther away from me! He loved it. He figured out how to walk in between waves to get back to me.

There's Daniel and Logan again. This is inbetween the waves. They only come every like 10 minutes or so. Logan is pointing at Grant I believe.

See how far away Grant is? He wanted to see how far we would let him go from us. He loved it!
Logan got tired of being in the pool, so he and I got out while Daniel took Grant into the deep end to jump in the waves. So I gave Logan a snack.
And I took some cute pictures! I love this one! Those big blue eyes!
Such a cute little man!!!
Grant with Jimmy Neutron!
Daniel and Logan with Jimmy!
And there are my boys with Spongebob! Logan loved meeting him. This is also the first picture we have of Grant with Spongebob.
Then we went out to dinner. This is Logan stabbing the paper with his crayon.
And there he is trying to color.
And there he is kissing the table. I don't know why. He got really fussy after this picture and the manager came over to see if he would like some fruit since the food was taking a little while. How cool is that? And he didn't charge us for it! Logan ate the whole bowl of canteloupe.
We had alot of fun that day. It was a good way to end Daniel's summer. I think he really had fun with the kids at Carowinds. Hope you all enjoyed the pics. Next time it will be pictures of Grant going to first grade!!!!!

Beasley Beach Vacation 2008

We went to Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago with the boys and Daniel's parents. It was a lot of fun. We stayed at a friend's condo. It was really nice. We went to Ripley's Aquarium at Broadway at the beach. Grant loves going there and now that Logan is into fish, he really liked it this year.

There are the boys looking at something in the pirate exhibit.

That is the sea turtle they have at Ripley's. This was the first time that we had seen the turtle swimming around.

There are the boys looking at jellyfish.

This is a picture of one of the sharks that Grant took with his camera. He was very proud of this picture.

Logan on the beach for the first time! He loved it! He had so much fun running in the sand. He wasn't too sure about the ocean water though.

Logan's footprints in the sand.

Grant's footprints in the sand.

That picture is of Danny, Daniel' dad, finding a pretty big shark's tooth. I thought it was a good picture of the four of them together too.
