Atlanta.....

We had a wonderful time in Atlanta. I really wanted to put up my scrapblog first but I haven't worked on it yet. So here are some pictures for now.

Grant holding Emma. He asked to hold her. I thought it was so sweet. And while he was holding her he talked to her. Such a big boy! And Emma is a very sweet baby.

On our way to the Coca-cola museum, we say Nickelodeon Slime Across America. So of course we stopped for Grant. He got to shoot real Slime and get a slime ball! He loved it.

There is Grant getting a free coke from the Coca-Cola Museum. That place was pretty cool.

Then on Sunday we went to the Georgia Aquarium. It was the most amazing Aquarium I have ever been to. We got there about 10:30 and left at 3.

An update on Grant's summer so far.....

Grant has had an eventful summer already and its only been two weeks! This past week he had soccer camp. He had alot of fun. This week I am signing him up for fall soccer again. He says soccer is his favorite sport right now. Daniel and I think that is because he gets to run around so much. Here is a picture of him getting his certificate and soccer ball. The sun was in his eyes, that is why he is making that face.

The week before last Grant went to spen a week with his Grandma in Hartsville. He went to vacation bible school at her church. He had alot of fun doing that too. And boy did he get spoiled. Here is a picture of him on the last day. They were singing songs and doing motions to it.

Next weekend we are going to Atlanta to see Sarah and Matt and little Emma Grace. We are very excited about it. Look forward to all of Grant's adventures this summer!

My Little Man

The picture is of Logan being silly, or of Grant actually, Grant put the bandana around Logan. Now the video I am putting up is of Logan talking and of him doing something the I used to do as a baby. It is the sniffing thing that he does with his nose. I hope you all enjoy, I know my parents will.

Schooooool's Out for SUMMER!!!!!!!!!

Well, it has happened. Grant has completed kindergarten and is now a first grader. (pause for tears) I can not believe that my baby is going into the first grade. He is getting so big. Today I went and had lunch with him. I took him McDonalds since it was the last day of school. Logan, of course, went with us. It was a good day. I took lots of pictures. Here are some of them.

So there you have it. Grant's very last day of kindergarten. He decided he wanted to leave when Logan and I left school. He was sad about leaving so Mrs. Radcliffe let him get a prize out of the treasure box. He got a little yellow truck and she gave him a book. She told me today that all he really needs is to practice reading of course and he will be set for First grade. She says she is not worried about him at all. That he is very smart and catches on so quickly. Well, I don't know what else to say except that I am sad and happy all at the same time. I also wished that they had done a graduation of sorts but they don't do that.
