We went to the Renaissance Festival in North Carolina last weekend with Kelly, Paul, Kara and Jeremy. It was alot of fun. On the way there we ate at The Penguin which is this old resturant that the food network has had on their Diners, Drive In, and Dives show. Well, the resturant was super busy so we got our food to go and ate at a nearby park. Which I wasn't too keen on, but it was alot of fun. Here are pictures from the day. Some I took and some Paul took.

Grant and Logan were really into the show. Logan kept barking at the horses!!

My brave little man. Grant went on this kids jousting ride. He was really proud of himself and so were we!
There he is! Right after this picture he threw down the lance and hugged the "horse". I don't think he liked how fast the horse went on the line.

did you like the Penguin? try their fried pickles? really greasy, but fun to go!
I would love to go to the Ren Festival someday. I have friends that go every year and even dress up, we just never have the money.
I bet Grant enjoyed the jousting.
